Orders and delivery
- How soon will it arrive?
- Every print is made to order. It's printed within 3 business days and delivered within 5 more, so it arrives within 8 business days. Tracking is included.
- Where do you ship?
- We ship free to addresses in the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states and Washington, DC), including PO boxes. We're not able to deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, the US territories, or to APO, FPO or DPO military addresses.
- What currency are prices in?
- Prices in USD. Free US shipping. The price you see on each artwork page is the price of the print, and shipping is free.
- What counts as a business day?
- Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays.
- Where's my order?
- We email you a tracking link as soon as your order leaves the printer. If you can't find it, email us with your order number and we'll send it again.
- What if my order is delayed?
- If we can't ship your order in the time we promised, we'll email you before that date with a new date and the option to cancel for a full refund.
- Can I change or cancel my order?
- Yes, free of charge within 12 hours of ordering, before printing starts. Email us with your order number. After that, our 90-day happiness guarantee still covers you.
Returns and the guarantee
- What if it arrives damaged?
- If your print arrives damaged or is lost in transit, we'll replace it free or refund you. Email us your order number and a photo within 90 days of delivery.
- What if I just don't love it?
- Not happy with your print? Tell us within 90 days and we'll replace it or refund you. That includes changing your mind or ordering the wrong size. Email us your order number to start a return.
- What if my parcel is lost?
- If tracking stops moving, or says your parcel was delivered but you don't have it, email us with your order number within 90 days. We'll check with the carrier, and if it's lost we'll replace it free or refund you.
- How quickly will I get my refund?
- Once your return is approved, we process your refund within 48 hours, back to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. Replacements are sent straight away.
The prints
- What are the prints made of?
- Fine art prints use 340gsm cold press fine art paper, 100% cotton rag and acid-free, with archival inks. Cold press paper is pressed between cold rollers, which leaves a subtle natural texture like watercolour paper, and its matte surface has no glare. Canvases use 360gsm archival canvas, stretched over solid wood stretcher bars.
- Canvas, framed or fine art print?
- Canvas is stretched over solid wood stretcher bars and ready to hang. Framed prints are canvases set in a floating frame, with no glass, and also arrive ready to hang. Fine art prints are printed on cotton rag paper, ship flat or rolled in a tube depending on size, ready for your own frame, and are the lower-cost way to start.
- How big will it actually look?
- Every size is listed in inches. Prints come in six standard shapes, so most paintings are cropped slightly to the closest one, and we never stretch a painting or pad it with white bars. Each artwork page shows the print against the original dimensions.
- Will the colours match my screen?
- Close, but not identical — screens emit light and prints reflect it, so tones read a little warmer on paper. We work from the museum's own high-resolution image wherever possible. If the colours aren't what you hoped for, our 90-day happiness guarantee covers you.
- Do framed canvases have glass?
- No. They sit in a floating frame with no glass to catch reflections or crack in transit.
